From capture through mixing, it was a otherworldy journey working on this music with Andrea. She has beautiful compositions, a very specific vision, and is very particular about her sound. We were very excited for her pieces to receive a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Classical Composition in 2024.

The Lincoln Trio does it again! These two intricate and complicated pieces by internationally renowned composer, arranger and master of the bandoneon, Daniel Binelli, are played by The Lincoln Trio in excellent fashion. It's a dream team, and was the recipient of a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best Classical Album in 2024. Sadly, we lost Ted Viviani prior to the album's release. Ted's dream and focus was to commission tango and tango-influenced compositions for the world's betterment. RIP Ted.
Mascagni: Cavalleria rusticana

The Music Director Riccardo Muti of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra specifically tapped Charlie to produce this brand new recording with the CSO, Chicago Symphony Chorus and a cast of outstanding soloists in Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria rusticana. "This exquisite concert performance [run] from February 2020 vividly captures the unforgettable cut of its melodies, the intoxicating colors of its Sicilian atmosphere and the urgent, heart-racing pace of its drama, which has few equals in the repertoire." PostProductions Audio was there at Ravinia to capture Tony-award winner Paulo Szot, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Marin Alsop, the choral ensemble Vocality, the Chicago Children’s Choir, and the Highland Park High School Marching Band. Bernstein's Mass includes everything but the kitchen sink!
